Travelling!

The sun is shinning brightly and the sky is bluer than a light blue Crayola colouring pencil and I am BURNT :D. Ok, so it was a bit painful the couple of days after my sun deck tanning session but now I have a tan and it's totally worth it :).   And I don't even have a bad hijabi tan line (you know, the line that traces the outter part of your hijab when youre out in the sun and only realise how hideous it looks once you take your headscarf off and compare the differences in skin colour) So it is safe to say I am feeling very summery.

Just came back from Aswan and Luxor ins Egypt and it was awesome!  All, if not most of the temples and tombs of ancient Egypt lie here so it was amazing to come up close with it.  The weather was deliciously hot and for the first time in a while I was wearing my light shirts and skirts.  Now I have returned home, I'm still on a travelling high and want to pack my suitcase again and get travelling-this time will be sensible with the sun block lotion, I swear!  I was looking for potential places to go and I think I would really like to go to a resort in Turkey soon.  I hear they have a lot of 'halal' resorts where a Muslim woman can enjoy the sun and beach without having to be dressed in her Islamic attire and that for me means more body tanning opportunities hehe!

As for Europe there is no doubting that I have to go back to Spain.  I'm just totally in love with it and have been twice before (Madrid and Granada). Next stop Barcelona or Seville me thinks...
